About Us
Pemiscot County Initiative Network (a community based
organization) is a partnership existing for the purpose of enabling community
and school leaders to define their own priorities and agendas based on the
community's needs, assets and vision, designed to meet the six core results
which are: (1) Children & Families Safe; (2) Children & Families Healthy; (3)
Children Ready to Enter School; (4) Children & Youth Succeeding in School; (5)
Youth Ready to Enter the Work Force & Become Productive Citizens; and (6)
Parents Working.

Our Mission
The mission of PIN (Pemiscot County Initiative Network) is to gather human
service professionals, church leadership, the business community, educators and
parents for a common cause: To better serve the needs of the total community
through empowering families and individuals to become more self-reliant,
responsible and resourceful.
